WORLD RALLY CHAMPIONSHIP

Meeke Returning To The WRC?

Could Kris Meeke be making a sensational return to the World Rally Championship for 2024?

It is silly season, But a return from the former fan favourite is not totally out of the question.

Meeke lost his Toyota seat at the end of the 2019 season, Although still under contract with the team Meeke decided it was time to look at other options within motorsport, Admitting his time in the World Rally Championship was over.

Until this year Meeke rarely ventured onto the stages competitively, Only taking the seat at Hyundai Portugal in honour of his late friend Craig Breen, Who tragically lost his life in a testing accident.

Meeke will compete in his ninth rally of the year in the upcoming Roger Albert Clark Rally.

His return and pace this year has not gone unnoticed within the sport, But how likely would a return be for the former Citroen & Toyota driver.

A part-time program looks most likely with whispers around the service park expecting an interesting announcement in the coming days... Meeke?
