IRISH TARMAC RALLY CHAMPIONSHIP

Three way battle for ITRC Title decider

This season's Irish Tarmac Rally Championship comes to its conclusion in the Modern Tyres Ulster International Rally this week.

After six pulsating rounds it all comes down to the final 10 stages over the iconic two day event.

After a titanic battle throughout the season, Its a straight shootout between the current reigning champion Josh Moffett who needs to take the top spot and hope the flying Callum Devine fails to finish higher than fifth position.

On current form that looks unlikely with Devine & Co-Driver O'Sullivan on a run of four wins in the last four rounds of the championship, On top of that Devine took the honours ahead of Moffett in last weeks ALMC Hellfire Rally in the National Rally Championship to make in five from five over the two championships, Devine needs to finish no lower than fourth place to take the title.

Meirion evans will hopefully be over the final stage drama that ended his chances of taking a second championship win last time out after the stage was red flagged, Denying him the opportunity to challenge Devine.

If the Welsh crew of Evans & Jackson can replicate the win in 2022, They can only hope that other ITRC crews will play a part in the final result by taking points from Devine and Moffett to hand them the title.

Devine is in the box seat and currently in red hot form, Will he play it safe or continue to push for the win?

Whatever the outcome, We have witnessed some unbelievable battles throughout the year.
