Sesks Thrills Fans During Warsaw WRC show

Just days out from 80th ORLEN Rally Poland, M-Sport Ford debutant Mārtiņš Sesks was turning heads and thrilling fans of all ages at an FIA World Rally Championship showcase in Poland’s capital city Warsaw on Sunday afternoon.

Sesks took his Ford Puma Rally1 for a head-turning Sunday drive through downtown Warsaw before unleashing its full fury for the expectant fans who had gathered at Kazimierz Górski National Stadium highlighting the 24-year-old Latvian’s talents ahead of his WRC Promoter-supported Rally1 debut at ORLEN 80th Rally Poland (27 – 30 June).

Onlookers were blown away by Sesks’ showmanship in the Puma as he took local celebrities for donut-filled blasts on a purpose-built stage outside the stadium, leaving all present scrambling for the perfect vantage-point.

Actors Mikołaj Roznerski and Alan Andersz, celebrity chef Pascal Brodnicki and former national footballer and now commentator Radosław Majdan were among the guests treated to a front-row experience of the world’s toughest motorsport.

“It is amazing, every time I come to Poland – whether it is a national event, ERC (European Rally Championship) or an event like today, it is loaded with people,” expressed Sesks, grinning from ear-to-ear. “It brings so much enthusiasm and gives us an extra boost ahead of Mikołajki in a few days.

“I am just smiling all the time, a lot of donuts and with these guests in the fastest rally car in the world – [being in this car] is something I have been dreaming about for quite a while.”

The event took place as part of the build-up for the WRC’s return to Poland for the first time since 2017. Action begins in the northern city of Mikolajki with a super special stage adjacent to the service park this Thursday evening (27 June).
