With the entry list for Acropolis Rally Greece now out, it’s no surprise to see Sébastien Ogier among the contenders.
The French rally legend, in his quest for a ninth title, is determined to stay at the forefront of the championship battle. His participation in this iconic event reaffirms his intent to add another chapter to his storied career as he tackles the challenging Greek terrain in pursuit of rallying glory.
Although there’s no official confirmation from the team or driver regarding the remaining rounds of the championship, it’s likely they will approach the season one event at a time. The more points Ogier secures here, the better his chances of continuing the title fight into the next round.
A total of 72 cars will take the start of this year’s EKO Acropolis Rally Greece (5 – 8 September) Toyota GAZOO Racing will run three cars with Elfyn Evans & Takamoto Katsuta joining Ogier.
Neuville heads a three car line-up from Hyundai with Ott Tanak & the return of Dani Sordo, Just his third outing this season.
M-Sport will also run three cars with Jourdan Serderidis taking on jis home event along with Adrien Fourmaux & Gregoir Munster.
