Meeke Streak Continues With D'Aboboreira Victory

Kris Meeke has once again emerged victorious in the Portugues rally championship taking the win here at the Rali Terras D'Aboboreira rally. This latest triumph marks Meeke's third victory in as many championship rounds this year, solidifying his status as a dominant force in the rallying world.

Despite clipping a rock and rolling during the qualifying stage Meeke showcased his exceptional talent behind the wheel from the first stage until the last, navigating the challenging terrain with precision and flair. Despite facing stiff competition from seasoned rivals, he maintained his composure and delivered a flawless performance throughout the rally.

Meeke and Co-Driver Stuart Louden took four stage wins from seven creating a comfortable lead up until SS4 when he suffered a puncture dropping almost all his lead to his nearest rival Yohan Rossel, Meeke reset during service to reclaim a 16.0s lead after the penultimate stage with Loubet jumping Rossel into second overall.

With just the power stage remaining Meeke needed to navigate without any issues to claim his third succesive victory in the championship, And he did just that.
