Max McRae Likely To Tackle British Rally Championship

Five times BRC champion & Rally Legend Jimmy McRae confirmed grandson Max McRae will likely contest the 2024 British Rally Championship.

Jimmy McRae attended the live launch at this weeks Autosport International, And confirmed during an interview with Bryn Lucas that its 90% likely that grandson Max will contest the 2024 campaign.

Reports this week also suggest Max has his sights set on a return to the Junior ERC after a difficult first season in the championship. The 19 year old suffered multiple mechanical issues throughout the campaign and has unfinished business in the Junior category.

With the junior ERC champion gaining a fully funded junior WRC drive in a Ford Fiesta Rally3 car, Its a pathway for Max to compete at the highest level in the sport.
