Legends Of Rallying Descend On Killarney

This Saturday the 14th October will see stars and cars from the World of rallying descend on Killarney, Co. Kerry for the Killarney & District Motor Club, Prodrive Celebration Night all in aid of the Jack & Jill Foundation.

Hosted by the voice of Irish motorsport Alan “Plum” Tyndall and featuring guests such as ex Prodrive engineer Martyn Spurrell, KDMC will be hosting an evening full of chats, stories and banter amongst a host of rallying legends from one of the sports most iconic marques.

A collection of Iconic Prodrive machinery and a host of Rallying Legends will be in attendance including Former World Rally Champion Co-Driver Phill Mills who will also be re-united with S400 WRT on the night.

Other iconic cars include W18 SRT, The car that Richard Burns used on Rally Portugal to give the P2000 Impreza its first win on its debut, Alongside Burns, the car has also been driven by Petter Solberg, Andrea Aghini and of course the Doherty brothers to great success.

The Rally Of The Lakes winning Impreza W100 WRC and the ex Marcus Grönholm & Mads Østberg Subaru Impreza M700 WRC are just a few examples of the cars in attendance, They will also be joined by a collection of cars from the Subaru Drivers Club.

David Richards CBE and chairman of Prodrive will have a video message for KDMC2 youth programme on the night, Along with a live link from other rally legends.

Prodrive cars will be on show from 3pm - Killarney Racecourse with the celebration evening starting at 5pm.
