Ingram Tops Impressive BRC Opener

Seeded Entry List Revealed for Legend Fires North West Stages Rally 2024: Chris Ingram Leads the Pack

The highly anticipated seeded entry list for the opening round of the British Rally Championship, the Legend Fires North West Stages Rally, has been unveiled tonight, sending ripples of excitement through the rally community. Leading the pack is former FIA ERC champion, Chris Ingram, seeded number one and ready to tackle the challenging stages of the North West.

Chris Ingram:

“I am absolutely buzzing to announce my entry into the 2024 British Rally Championship alongside a highly esteemed British team, with Alex Kihurani returning as my co-driver after a short break due to personal reasons” says Ingram.

“This year’s BRC British Rally Championship is shaping up to be one of the most exciting in recent memory. The amazing news that ITV Sport is covering the championship will be a great boost for the sport and provide superb promotion for my partners.

“Alex and I showed a strong pace in Europe last year despite a limited programme, so I can’t wait to see how we can progress this year working consistently with a team that has a huge amount of experience.

Four-time British Rally Champion Keith Cronin seeded at number two returns looking to take title number five and match Rally legend Jimmy McRae.

Keith Cronin:

“Our original ambition was to concentrate on the Irish events this year, the plan was to return to the BRC in the future”, said Cronin.  “In conjunction with our partners, we have reached a decision to take on the two championships, and I am very grateful to them for their support”.  Cronin previously won the British Rally Championship in 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2017, and was runner-up in 2022.

Other notable entries include Osian Pryce, Seeded at number three, Meirion Evans (4) and William Creighton (5)
