Devine inspiration

Callum Devine is on course for his maiden Irish tarmac championship title after an almighty battle in Cork

Welshman Meirion Evans lead until SS13 taking seven stage wins over the two days, But Devine hit back on SS13, Setting a time 8.4s faster than Evans to put him in the overall lead by 4.6s, Evans hit back on the penultimate stage, With one stage remaining the gap stood at just 2.7s.

Unfortunately Evans did not get the opportunity to fight Devine over the last stage when it was red flagged due to a previous incident, Which handed the win to Devine and Co-Driver O'Sullivan, Making it four championship wins from four with just one round remaining.
