Basso quickest in qualifying

Giandomenico Basso, at the wheel of a Skoda Fabia Rally2 Evo and with a time of 1:50.885, was the fastest driver in the Qualifying of the Madeira Wine Rally. The Italian will be, as such, the first to choose his starting order for the 1st stage of the race organized by Club Sports da Madeira.

Second fastest was the Madeiran Miguel Nunes, with an identical car, who traveled that route in 1:51.052.

Kris Meeke took the third fastest time, Less than four tenths down on Basso.
