#42 Brattby - In Honour Of Craig Breen

In honour of the late Craig Breen’s dominance across SS2/5 Brattby at last year’s event, the 10.76km stage has been renamed as #42 Brattby.

Breen, who tragically lost his life in a testing accident on 13 April 2023, endeared himself to fans with his infectious enthusiasm for all things rallying. #42 Craig Breen, dominated the Brattby stage in 2023. And right after he crossed the finish line, he laughingly said to a reporter, "I could probably be the Mayor of Brattby at this stage!" Craig finished second overall in 2023.

It was on the 10.76km Brattby stage that he truly left his mark. Setting a time 3.8sec quicker than Ott Tänak on the initial pass, Breen's dominance was further highlighted on the repeated run when he stopped the clock a staggering 7.8sec quicker than any of his competitors to claim the lead.
